Privacy Policy
Effective from 21 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect on swipeandwear.cz, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as possible: the website has no user accounts, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
Who is responsible for your data

Swipe&Wear is the name of the project. We have not appointed a data protection officer — just write to the email above.
What we collect and why
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address,
- whether you ticked “I'd like to test the beta”,
- which version of the sign-up text you agreed to, and the date and time of sign-up.
Purpose: to email you when the Swipe&Wear app is available on Google Play and, if you ticked the beta box, to invite you to test the app before launch. We don't send newsletters or advertising and we never sell or share your email with shops or anyone else.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to info@swipeandwear.cz; we will then delete your data. Withdrawal doesn't affect anything we did before it.
How long: until the app launches, and at most 6 months after the launch email is sent (beta testers: until the end of the beta testing). Then we delete the list.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the correspondence as long as needed to deal with your request, usually no longer than 2 years.
Technical data when you visit the website
Like any website, ours receives your IP address and basic browser information when you open a page. Our hosting provider Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the page and protect it from attacks and may keep it in short-term security logs. We don't use it to identify you or build profiles. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies
The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, so we don't ask for cookie consent. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who processes the data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — website hosting, the database where the waitlist is stored, forwarding of emails sent to @swipeandwear.cz.
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — our mailbox (Gmail), where emails to @swipeandwear.cz are delivered.
Both process the data only on our behalf. Data may be transferred to the USA; these companies are certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and transfers are also covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. If we start using another service (for example, to send the launch email), we will list it here first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you and get a copy of it,
- have incorrect data corrected,
- have your data deleted,
- restrict processing, and receive your data in a portable format,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
- withdraw your consent at any time.
Just email info@swipeandwear.cz — we'll reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz.
Other things you should know
- We don't make automated decisions about you or profile you.
- The waitlist is meant for people aged 16 and over.
- Links on this site may lead to other websites (for example, shops). Their own privacy policies apply there.
- The Swipe&Wear app will have its own section in this policy, published before the app is released.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version here with a new date. If the change affects how we use your waitlist email, we'll tell you by email.
